Sgt. Flusche, I was reading the recent article about your brother who was recently shot in the line of duty after responding to a hostage situation. Obviously you were looking out for him, b/c things look good and, according to the news reports, he's going to make it through just fine. I look at the history of your family and see 3 Sgt. Flusches...what an amazing family history!!! Your father must be so proud of you and your brother...from the quotes I read in the paper it certainly sounds like it.

Dear Dad,

I just want it to be known that you are a Grandfather, too. Our son is a healthy and happy boy, who has a beautiful ahead of him. His name is Matthew which means "gift from God." It wasn't long after we buried you that we found we were pregnant. I honestly believe you went up to heaven and picked this beautuful baby boy out for us and sent him down for us to raise. Thank you.
