Reflections for Sheriff Henry Buckner

RIP Officer Buckner.. My brother was a police officer as well and was murdered in 1986 as he served and protected the Oklahoma City area. I cannot believe Officer Buckner’s killer only received 8 years in prison. This is not justice!!

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.
GOD Bless

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 58th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

I remember this night even today when you gave your all for us. I was skating with your daughter that night, many, many, tears were shed by family and friends. I will never forget and I thank you for your service. A man gone to soon but never forgotten.

Thank you for paying the ultimate price. You are NOT forgotten, 53 years after your untimely death. I just hope that the person that took you from this earth had to face the long arm of the law.

Knew the sheriff and his family...good sheriff...good man

Sheriff, I was only 7 years old and living in your county when you made the ultimate sacrifice for the citizens of America. Years later, I became a police officer in your county. Some of the "old timer" officers were still around and spoke very highly of your dedication, bravery and honesty. Although 52 years have passed, you are still remembered and always will be. Rest in peace.
