Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Trooper Kenneth A. Poormon

It has been over six years since your tour of duty ended but I know the tears still flow from the broken hearts that were left behind. They think of you every day and will continue to do so for as long as they walk this earth. You will never be forgotten as you are a true hero and heroes never die. Continue to keep watch over your loved ones and those officers still out on patrol watching over the Thin Blue Line.

People come into our lives for a reason, season or a lifetime.
Some people come into our lives and quickly go,
Some people become friends and stay a while-
Leaving beautiful footprints on out hearts
And we are never quite the same.

"I believe you came into my life for a season"
It is said that when people come into your life for a season, it is because your turn has come to share, grow or learn. They may bring you peace, or make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They usually give you and unbelievably amount of joy. I believe it, and it was real, but only for a season.
Thank you for the season and your fun-loving spirit.

Rest in Peace, Brother. Though you were just beginning your career, your service is truly appreciated. The sacrifice you made was not without reason. We don't know what the reason was, but He does and there is comfort to be found in knowing that.

Sorry the fieldhouse has the same kind of spiritual effect on me. Hope nobody took offense to that. That speedbump is one tricky little spot. Spilled my coffee

Dear Sir,
When I am thrown to the gates of Gehenna I want you to shoot me from heaven like a pheasant with that firearm that was pointed at you during the prom party. You were not only calm under pressure, but a true Champion of American Heritage and mankind. God bless you. Ongwanonhsioni (Seneca)
