Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Todd Michael Widman

No one has posted for this young man in several years. I did not know him. I did grow up in the area, lots of good people. God rest your soul, Deputy. I am sure your memory still lives and you are loved and missed. My family and I sleep a little safer each night knowing others like you are manning the wall. To any law enforcement reading this, do not believe what you see on the news these days, most citizens support you and thank you.

Search and search again. No disrespect to this young man, but I was once in his position. After an arrest, I searched and found a knife in the perp's boxers. Another officer found a small loaded .25 cal.on another, during a secondary search. Search and search again. Even if just giving a ride to a pedestrian on a highway. Male or female. Young or old.Take no chances. God Bless you deputy Widman and your family.

Rest in peace Deputy Sheriff Widman. Was wondering if you were related to a Florida officer named Widman shot and killed about ten years ago?
