Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Steven Michael Agner

Steve,

We all miss you so much. You were such a good friend to my husband Michael Price. He worked for you for two years in Greenville Fl. This is really hard to write but you are in Heaven now and you are watching over all of us, your family, friends, your extended family in law enforcement and their spouses so while you watch over us, you know our hearts, you know that it broke our hearts when heard the news of the accident, we miss you so dearly. Thank you STEVE, FOR BEING WHO YOU ARE, your love of law enforcement, your friendship and your love you gave all of us. We will always love and miss you Steve, We will meet you again in Heaven. Love always, your co-worker, friend and brother in law enforcement and his family, Chief Michael Price, his wife Karen and daughter AmberLee

Friend

When we started the academy back in 1990, neither of us knew what the road ahead had in store for us. However, we did know that Law Enforcement was our calling and that we would carry out that calling to the best of our ability. For some it was a matter of reaching a status qo, but for us it was a matter of duty. I hope that the citizens of Greenville, where you served as Chief and the citizens of Madison county, where you served as a Deputy realize
that you served from the heart just as I do. Peace be with you Steve and when we meet again we can rejoice because we both know our calling was from the heart.
