Your heroism and service is honored today, the 44th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Barr, although I never knew you, I thank you for the service you provided for the community I grew up in, and now proudly work for. The Police Station was re-named the Norman Barr building in your honor. Thank You again for your service, and please keep watch over all of us still serving Haverford Township. God Bless !
