Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Police Officer Shawn Phillip Bandy

Shawn,
It has been over 5 years and I still remember my heart stopping when I heard. I will continue to pray for your family.
Your brothers and sisters in blue will never forget you or your dedication and service. Thank you

I still remember that big grin along with "Sarge, I got another one". You won't be forgotten.

Blessed are the peace-makers, for they shall inherit the earth....I truly beleive that God has a special place reserved for all of us. Your family is in my prayers. Rest in peace up there, brother...we got it covered down here.

Your were the first officer that I had to wear a mourning band across my badge for and it deeply saddened me to hear of your untimely death. I had reservations in my mind about the job after I heard of your demise but I thought to myself that your probably wouldn't have changed our profession for nothing in the world, so therefore, I am still serving. So rest in peace my fellow brother in blue. Your watch is now over. 10-7
