Ineasie,
It may be over 25 years since your End of Watch but you’ll always be remembered. I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of California. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than Corrections. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I remember my first day working at YTS in 1998, your daughter happened to be by your memorial and she approached me knowing that I was a newly hired staff and told me, don't worry about the wards, worry about the staff. I always remembered that.

I worked your same shift on C/D 5-1pm for over a year. I remember that every time, I would open the linen closet down Bqnk C 3/4 I would feel the cold air of the vent and it would bring goosebumps to me. Your presence was always there till the day I transferred in 2005. May you Rest in Paradise.

Dear Ms. Baker!
Just wanted to let yoi know that even though the years pass us by, I still think of you my dear counselor!! I remember your voice, your smile, your kindness...and I wish I could go back in time to when we would sit in the dayroom on C&D just to see your face and to hear your laugh again when I'd say something silly.
I was 19 then...today I'm 45....and as long as I live, I will NEVER forget you. Rest easy my beautiful counselor!!

I never had a chance to meet you, i was hired as a YCO in 2004. When i attended the academy there was a picture of you over the entrance to our multipurpose room. A light was always shining on you never going out. I knew about your passing long before i became a peace officer. I really felt you were looking over all of us at the academy, i still believe this. May our Lord keep you Ineasie, Bless you.

It's 2015 & so many years have passed but I will NEVER forget this. I was in TS in 97-2000. I was in ventura YCF when it happened. I remember the whole place going on lock down and rules changing. I thank the guards and counselors that took heed to the situation, but still took the time to treat me as a human, as a man. I heard so many good things about you when I was at YTS. You were truly loved by the staff and wards a alike. So much that not long after I was there a stupid ward made a comment to another female staff about ending up like you. About 8 wards approached him on the yard and made sure he thought long and hard in the infirmary about saying something like that. You are missed & staff like your were and are approciated.

Dearest Ms. Baker!
You were my counselor on unit C&D back in 93´....you were an amazing person and to this day I think of you with a warm heart! I cannot believe that a PUNK like Ferris did this to you...especially since most of us loved and respected you!
You were sooooo happy for me the day I got paroled....you screamed over the phone with excitement when they called you from the parole board hearing to tell you that after 3 times of denying me they FINALLY let me go!! I love you for that...for all the talks we had, for ALL your support. You were an amazing YC..and an even more amazing human being.
I miss you and will never forget you and your beautiful smile. RIP Ms. Baker.....you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers!

I will never forget you Ineasie. August 8, 1996 I (YCO) was working graveyard shift and as I walked in the Key Cage, officers were asked if they had seen or heard from you. Your car was still parked in the parking lot even though you should have been gone at 1:00pm that afternoon. Your husband had called the control tower looking for you, thinking maybe you had taken an extra shift and was told that you were not on the prison grounds. The whole shift from that point on, I didn't know what to think. At 6:00am on the morning of August 9, 1996 most of the graveyard shift was held over to assist in a facility wide search. Unfortunately, it took a couple of days before you were found. I will never forget that day and the days to follow. I was sickened by all that came out of the trial regarding our coworkers and James Ferris. I continued to work at that prison for 7 more years (which was very challenging) and then took a year of medical leave. In 2003 I called the HR department and quit. You were trying to help these people and do the right thing when it came to holding wards accountable. I will never forget all that you taught me in that one year we worked together and I will never forget you.

i was an inmate at the time this took place there at YTS in Chino.my company was G/H which was right above C/D where it all happened.i remember that day clearly, and all the events that took place rt after. I worked visiting and would see her as she started her shift.talked to her briefly. She seemed really nice and i was so sorry to hear about what happened. I'm out of the system now and have been for 14yrs. i also see her name on the fwy when i drive,i actually live rt down the street from YTS. God bless the family and give them strength.
