Reflections for Officer Patrick Howell Baldwin

Granddad,

I never had the pleasure of meeting you, as you were killed 18 years before I was born. But I did have many conversations with my mom (your daughter Mary) about you. I wish I could have spent time with you.

Rest In Peace. Thank you for your service to your community.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 70th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
