Your heroism and service is honored today, the eighty-first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

As I do everyday, today I browsed the ODMP honoring fallen officers who left us on this date in history. To my great sadness, I came across an officer from Delaware who departed us far too young and early, and whose great grandson I happen to know quite well. Take comfort in knowing you left us a hero and that you would be quite proud of the name and reputation your great grandson has made for himself and for you. Rest in peace always!
