Reflections for Detective Albert Wiebelt

Today your great great nephew Nicholas begins his life journey in law enforcement, watch over and protect him as he caries on with the work that you so bravely pursued. So you know you will never be forgotten by your family which is both proud and grateful for the ultimate sacrifice you and your partner made protecting us. Your great nephew Charles.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 84th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect, not even 84 years.

Rest In Peace
