Hello, I am the coordinator of ODMP's No parole for Cop killers. I am as we speak getting my report ready on November and your dad's case is so close to the line between November and December that I am sending his with all The cop killers up for parole in November. If you go to this link http://www.noparole.org you will see your dad's killer on the no parole wall. It also will go on our facebook page. Also over 15,000 people have asked to receive a notification telling them when someone is being considered for parole. I always find myself reading these reflections. The reflection his daughter put up caught my eye. I had to wonder how old she was when her dad was murdered. How she found out. Wendy, I fell in love with my first officer when I was 3. The day Daddy put the uniform on the first time. I lost my personal blue hero when I was 10. Wendy, I just wanted to let you know ther4e are people that do understand your pain. If I can help you in any way or if you need to talk send me an email [email protected] and I will send you a number to call me. You and your family and his department are in my prayers.

It was my honor to research newspapers, magazines, online & books to find your ID CARD Photo. I found this photo in a Magazine Article about your heroic sacrifice. I felt it was necessary to have a photo on this website so that your family & friends can remember you. Rest Easy Hero! Always Remembered!

I never met you, but your daughter was and continues to be a very important friend and part of my life. I saw first hand, even after many years how your absence affects her. I know you are still special to your family and I know you continue to watch over them. Rest In Peace.

I had the honor to carry Officer Whittington's name etched on a bracelet during Law Enforcement United's 2014 Road to Hope Bicycle Ride this year. This bracelet made the 250 mile journey from Chesapeake, Virginia to Washington, D.C. It is truly a very special honor for me as his nephew is a co-worker of mine and one of the nicest people I have ever met.
Thank you for your service Officer Whittington, you will never be forgotten.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 32nd anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

To my Uncle Jimmy, As I sit here today, it occurred to me that like my only daughter, your birthday and the day you left us are both in this month. You never knew my little girl, she was born years after you left us. But I am positive that you and she are both together in Heaven, for a better uncle (great-uncle) is not to be found. It comforts me to know that you and both your parents are there with my little girl. I miss you uncle Jimmy. Take care of my little girl just like you took care of us when you were here. I love you,,,, from your Niece Genia.
