Next week is Red Ribbon Week which was started in honor of a DEA agent who was gunned down during drug investigation. We have one of our very own. John and I took many classes together at UofL Justice Administration. We studied together and shared many notes, especially from Professor Klotter's class!! John truly loved his work. I'm involved with my son's PTA at Maupin Elementary in Louisville. We will have lots of RRW activities educating the children on drug awareness. The children will be collecting Pennies for Prevention and we will use the money for drug prevention book for out library. On the inside of all the books' covers, John's name will be mentioned in hopes that his memory lives on. For you and all the fallen, you will not be forgotten.
