I was able to contact surviving family members and get some good pictures of him to share to ODMP. So now we can put a face to the name. It breaks my heart to see someone on here without a picture.

Rest in Peace Officer Gordon Udell Warrick. Thank You for your Service and Sacrifice protecting the citizens of Beaumont, Texas.

I Pray for Peace for your Family, Friends and Co-Workers. I also pray that the hounds of hell forever pursue the person responsible for your death. May they know no peace on this earth. May the flames of hell forever scorch their bones!

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 68th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
