As the A.B.C. Agent assigned to Bland Co. at the time your name was submitted to be engraved on the Law Enforcement Memorial in Washington, DC, I was tasked to retrieve documents related to your murder from the Bland Co., VA courthouse. This file contained the blood stained search warrant which was introduced as evidence. There is no more poignant reminder of the ultimate sacrifice you made. Thank you Investigator Vincent for your service just past the 68th anniversary of your murder. You are not forgotten.

INVESTIGATOR VINCENT, YOU HAVE SERVED WELL. MAY GOD BLESS YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE AND SACRIFICE. A HERO FOR SURE. MAY YOU REST IN PEACE. I CANNOT UNDERSTAND HOW THE COURTS COULD SEE A 12 YEAR SENTENCE FOR A COLD BLOODED MURDERER TO BE A JUST PENALTY.

Investigator Vincent,
On today, the 56th anniversary of your murder, I would like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of Virginia. It's a crime, that your murderer only had to serve 12 years in prison.
