Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Patrolman Louis Vastola

I knew a neighbor named Jerry Vastola in North Miami Beach, Florida and I was wondering if you were related. Rest in peace Patrolman Vastola. Your courage was outstanding.

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Vastola and his family. He may be gone but not forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 73rd anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

EVEN THOUGH YOU HAVE BEEN GONE MORE THAN 24 YEARS, I KNOW THAT YOU WILL NEVER BE FORGOTTEN. KEEP WATCH FROM BEYOND, AND LET US ALL REALIZE THAT THERE ARE HEROES, AS WELL AS ANGELS AMONG US.
