Your heroism and service is honored today, the 83rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Having read in the Police Lobby of City Hall, about you and your service to our City, as well as the circumstances of your tragic passing, I think of you, your family, and our loss, each time I pass through the intersection, of the collision.

Patrolman Tracey, know that you are not forgotten, by the member of the BPD, and thank you for your service.
