Trooper Tobin, I simply wish to acknowledge the 81st anniversary of your tragic death. It is apparent that not only are you remembered here, but by your loving family. I often say in the reflections I leave that, so long as your family keeps you in their hearts and minds, you are never truly gone. This site has proven that point.

On a side note, in-spite of my name, my blood line is Tobin and though it's unlikely we're related, I feel a kinship.

God Bless and may your rest continue, Brother.

Uncle Buster was my favorite uncle and my hero as a child.
I remember that he was a driving instuctor before he became a Motercycle Trooper. One of my favorite memories was his ability to ride his motorcycle while standing on the seat. And, he always let me ride in the rumble seat of the car when I was a child. I was 9 years old when he was killed.
