I was not yet born when Officer Tippit was murdered on that fateful day in Dallas, but I want his family to know that fifty years later and he is still in the thoughts of common people. His service will NEVER be forgotten.

I was just starting to read this and his wife came on tv. That is the weirdest thing in the world as I have never knew there was a PO killed that fateful day. All I can say is I am sorry. God bless you.

My heart goes out to the family of Officer J. D. Tippit. I will never forget that day. I was only 10 years old on this sad day but I remember it all like yesterday. I will carry the sadness of this day in my heart till I take my last breath. God Bless!
