As your great-great grandson I think of your sacrifice. I carried on the tradition with 26 years of law enforcement service. Rest in peace.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 104th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never dimishes respect, not even 104 years.

Rest In Peace
