Reflections for Lieutenant John Lewis Thomas

Lord Jesus, You came to Earth to show us what true love looks like. You taught us that love was about sacrifice, virtue, and service. You taught us that love means to lay down Your life for one another. For fallen law enforcement officers everywhere, we thank You for their selfless example of courage and valor. We ask that You bless and keep the families and friends of these fallen officers. Lord Jesus, wipe every tear from their eyes. Help them to heal and to move forward in a way that honors the memory of Lieutenant John L. Thomas, of the Fayette County KY Police Department. In Christ Jesus, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the PEACEMAKERS for they shall be called children of God.” [Matthew 5:9]

“No one has greater love than this, that someone would lay down his life for his friends.” [John 15:13]

Very sad on the part of the justice system!! Why, only 8 years for the cold brutal murder of a police oficer? I think someone in the KY justice system should look in to this.

Brother in blue may you rest in peace sir.

WHAT A SHAME! Lt. Thomas's life was only worth eight years.
I think anyone who shoots at a police officer deserves a death sentence.Even if they try that ever famous insanity plea.
