Rest in peace always and know that your service and sacrifice will never, ever be forgotten by your law enforcement brethren.

I walked into Graterford as a new CO in 2016. Your picture hanging, there on the corridor wall, reminded me each day to stay safe. It’s as though you have watched over Graterford for the past 45 years; somehow still standing shoulder to shoulder with your fellow COs.
Thank you for your sacrifice, may you Rest In Peace.

Dad I wish that I had you when I was growing up. Now your loving wife is back with you in heaven. I miss you both so much every day. Two of my brothers were with you now (Thomas and Steven). I have one son his name is Thomas after your father and my brother. It will be 40 years in September since you were murdered. I will always miss you.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 37th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer. I pray for the solace of all those who love and remember you for I know both the pain and pride are forever.

Rest In Peace

Steve, not a day goes by that I don't think of you. I miss you so much. They say life goes on and "it does",but life is not the same when you have lost someone you loved so much. You will be forever in my thoughts and my heart. Steve, I will always love you.

Thirty three years ago today you were tragically taken from us but no law enforcement officer will ever forget your sacrifice and courage. May God always bless and look after your wife and family and may you always look over your brother and sister officers. Thank you!

On September 16 you will have been gone 33 years. There is not a day that has gone by that I haven't thought of you. Time may heal some wounds, but time does not erase the hurt and it does not erase the memories of you. You were my true love and I will never get over the loss your death brought to our family. You are forever in my heart and my mind.

Love, Toni

Officer Embry,
As one office wrote in another fallen officer's reflection-"No fallen officer should be without a reflection." I would like to say thank you for your service to the citizens of the state of Pennsylvania-there is no tougher job in Law Enforcement then that of a Corrections Officer.
