Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Captain John T. Sullivan

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundered and first anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

"Give eternal rest to them, O Lord,
Whose souls have taken flight
And lead them to a better world
Where there is peace and light.
Grant them eternal freedom
From conflict, war, and care,
And fulfill for them Thy prophecy,
There shall be no night there.

Thank you for your years of dedicated service Captain Sullivan. May your loved ones find comfort and peace in God's mercy and grace. Rest well dear one. We love you and you will always be in our prayers.

I'm honored to be the first to leave a reflection for you. Thank you for your efforts in making your city a moral place to live. Although your killer was never identified here on earth, he has been dealt with by the Mighty Judge Himself, God. I'm sure justice was served. Rest in peace.
