Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Grover Cleveland Stringer

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

Great-grandpa, I never knew you but you left behind a loving family and I didn't forget you. From you, a WV Law legacy was born. It took many years to uncover the facts around your shooting, but we perservered. May God Bless you and keep you in his guard- walking a beat in Heaven!
