To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 56th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.

Dear Debra L. Stone Penney,

Your father was my dad's brother in law. I was born 1964 and never had the opportunity to meet him. You are a 1st cousin I've never met.

I never got the opportunity to meet your mom, but have a photo of her in a family album cousin Melanie gave me. I'll download a photo of your father and place it in there with hers.

Sincerely,

Brenda Tolley

Today on the anniversary of your death we remember you and thank you for your service. For those of us new to what police work really involves might be surprised that in 1957 drugs were taking lives of citizens and polices office trying to stop drug smugglers
