On May 15th 2015 I was given the honor of reading Mr. Arendt's name at the Minnesota Law Enforcement Memorial located in St. Paul. Standing guard at the Memorial was one of the greatest honors of my law enforcement career. Although Senior Deputy Arendt is not longer with us, he will always be remembered. May he forever rest in peace knowing that he served with honor and was loved by the community.
