Reflections for Police Officer Richard Thomas Steed

Officer Steed,

I can still remember attending your funeral so many years ago. I had only been on the Orange County Sheriffs Dept for three years when you met your fate. A the time, I was assigned to the main jail and was just one of the deputys assigned the unfortunate task of watching over your killer. Your passing left a deep impression on me and I want you to know that I still think about you after all these years. Rest in Peace brother officer.

Deputy Edward Barnett, Retired
Orange County Sheriffs Dept

I was saddened to see there were no reflections left for you. If your natural family, or family in blue check this I want them to know someone is out there praying for them, and their loss, which changed their lives forever. You will never be forgotten, my brother in blue, and may the you keep watch over us down here as we seek to keep the peace, and protect everyone, even those who hate, and dispise us. God bless.
