Your ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten despite it has been 57 years. The CPD will always remember your sacrifice.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your sacrifice was made so many years ago. Evil was, is, and will be a part of life just as goodness such as yours will also be present.

Rest In Peace

I was never able to get to know my grandfather but from eveything I have read and stories I have been told he was the kind of man every young boy would like to grow up to be like. Thanks to all officers that sacrifice every day to protect us.
