Reflections for Marshal Rolland P. Smith

Rest in peace Marshall Smith. The lone son you left behind was my wonderful Grandfather. From this branch today you would have 4 great great grandchildren and 11 great great great grandchildren. I thank police officers repeatedly for their service and would have thanked you if I was able. Even though your life was short you left quite a legacy. God Bless our law enforcement.

Great Grandson

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 110th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
