Patrolman Selleck,
On today, the 108th anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you to you and your partner for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of New York City. It took another two years but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the one hundred and second anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Selleck and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Its Good to know that I have someone upstairs looking down on me that understands the job. Even though I did not know you I still keep you close to my heart every time I put the badge on my chest. Thank you for all that you did during you short time here.
