Sadly, I never had the opportunity to meet my uncle, Albert Savich. I grew up after my uncle was killed. I wish I would have known him as he seemed like a nice guy.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
