Your heroism and service is honored today, the 70th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace

As I was putting together our family tree I became aware that you were my grandfather. I have looked at this page a million times due to being a member of the fallen officers memorial ceremony board in AZ. I knew I felt a connection with helping families and officers remember the fallen, but it just became more clear to me why I sit on this board. You service will be remembered, and I look forward to finding more out about you. RIP great grandpa Sanger! Jenny

I hope you look upon me with pride as I wear the same badge and walk the same path. I hope I may continue your good work and community leadership. I ask for you to be my silent partner and watch over me and help me continue to follow the path you have set.
