Lummie Sanders was my uncle and I remember spending time with my family at his home in Chagrin Falls Ohio. The day of his accident was a very sad day for our family and I remember trying to console my cousin Amy. Lonnie Sloan I am sorry that you did not get to know him very well, however I would like to say that what I remember of him was all good. I still smile when I think of him.

He was my father I never really got to know him, as he was killed when I was very young. I wish that I had gotten to know him more. May God have mercy on his soul

My great uncle also. My sister informed me of this page. I have heard so many things about him. The sanders family has a great history and strong roots in their community. The love that they had for each other was strong and they showed it. When they we're together one could since the love and respect they had for my grandmother (maggie sanders) who helped raise the younger ones after the death of their mother. 11 siblings in all! Many descendants still reside in Chagrin Fall and the Cleveland area.

Deputy Lummie SAnders,
I am prod to say I knew Lummie at that time as I was also a deputy sheriff forn Sheriff Robusky. Lummie was always fun to be around and an honnest hard working deputy. SheriffnRobusky always spoke highly of Lummie. I remember that morning of the accident well as it is my birth day and I happen along at that time by Jack's trailer park. I knew Lummie and his partner and was very shocked to to see the reackage.
