This is my grandfather, who I was denied the opportunity to have in my life. By all accounts he was murdered and justice was never served. He had a thankless job and placed his life on the line daily. Upon his widows,(my grandmother)death, which was only a few years later due to cancer. His younger children,(including my mother and her sisters)were placed in an orphanage. All inheritance was lost due to property being taken to build Alcoa aluminum Dam. My heart is broken at the injustice,of government and the pain endured by my family.May they rest in peace,as it is a fact they gave all.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 90th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace
