Thank you for all the generous comments left to my father. He was the best Dad in the whole world. Although I was young he had so much love for his family it will stay with me for a life time. It's nice to see he is still thought of & remembered.

Brother Ridenour,

May the road rise up to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back,
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
And the rains fall soft upon your fields,
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of His hand.

Respectfully,
You’re Brothers in Blue

We ask Thy blessings and eternal rest to all our brothers and sisters
Who have sacrificed their very lives in the performance of
their duties. Give their loved ones the peace and
Strength to bear the anguish of their loss. Remove all
resentment from their hearts, knowing that eternal
peace and rest will abide their departed loved ones
forever. This we beg, Thy name forever and ever,
Amen.

Although you had only 8 months on the job, you showed great courage and bravery in the face of extreme danger.
In dealing with a deranged mental person who ripped the gun from your holster and shot you several times at close range. Other Officers were able to shoot and kill your attacker.
YOUR SERVICE AND DEDICATION HONORED THE POLICE DEPARTMENT OF BALTIMORE CITY.
As you patrol in Heaven, you will never have to see the evil on this earth.
