Dear Great Grandfather,

I am so proud of you! I wish I could have known you. I was so close to your Daughter, my Grandmother, Gwendolyn Reagan Billingsley. She was a dark eyed beautiful woman, who was the most loving of Grandmothers. She was in awe of you, although you died when she was 6 months old. Thank you for all you did for Oklahoma City. Love, Gwen E Talley Logan

From what I have found, you were not new to police work, you were town marshal in Duncan not long before your sacrifice in OKC.
Rest peacefully sir.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 102nd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

I am sure you are proud of the long career in law enforcement your great-grandson had as he continued your legacy of protecting and serving.
Rest In Peace.

Great Grandfather,

I was born many years after your death, but I have followed in your foot steps. I have been a police officer for almost 30 years. Even though you have been gone for some many years, you are still my hero.

According to the research I have done, because of your death, the Oklahoma State Police Officers Pension Fund was started. All Officers in the State salute you.

The family has missed you dearly. I look forward to the day when we can patrol the golden streets of heaven together. I love you.
