Reflections for Patrolman Joseph L. Rauchut

Hi, I work in NE Philadelphia and while on a walk I found a dog tag that belonged to Patrolman Joseph L. Rauchut, there was also a a dog tag on the chain that said "To my son" love mom. I'm sure who ever lost it would want it back. If you know who it belongs to, please email me at [email protected]

I said a little prayer today for Patrolman Rauchut and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 54th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Patrolman Rauchut,
On the anniversary of your passing I would like you and your family to know that you are not forgotten. Your photo and Shield are proudly displayed on a memorial at Highway Patrol 2. The memorial is located in the muster room where you have been present for every Roll Call for the last 48 years. Rest in peace.
