Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. You will always be remembered and revered.

Rest In Peace

Pap:

Obviously I never knew you, as grandma was only 12 when you died. I can't imagine what Nana and grandma went through, and prayed my children and I would never have to experience it, as I too married a police officer. We were fortunate never having to have come close to such pain. I thank you, as well as all police officers, here and gone, for their dedication and willingness to face the unknown and place others' wellbeing above their own.

Chief Rae,
On today, the 84th anniversary of your death, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of West Newton Borough. It took another 4 months, but your murderer finally got the justice that he deserved.
