I know my father loved you a great deal. He was raised with you after his parents had went to be with the Lord. He always told me what a wonderful officer you were and told me some of the funny things you did together as young boys. My heart and prayers go out to your family. I know dad misses you a great deal. I hope I can be half the officer that you were... I will carry you with me on every call...

God bless you Uncle Mike,

Mike was a good man and officer. Him, his wife and friend and fellow officer John befriended me when I was teenager and had a troubled home life. They were always there for me and made a huge impact in my life. I'm now married to a law enforcement officer and have always remembered those two and there caring and faith in me. Mike will always be missed. You smiled and lit up the room. To this day I can't hear Marvin Gaye " Let's get it on" without thinking of you and smiling. That was you and your wife's song and you like to play it loud.
To his wife and sons I have thought of you often and you all meant a lot to my life.
Love and miss you Mike.

19 years after you were killed in the line of duty, you have not been forgotten. God bless your family, and may they hold fond memories of you close to them forever. You have set an example for those who have and will protect and serve long after you have been gone, and this will be remembered because fallen heroes are never forgotten.
