I wish I could have known my Grandfather, my Grandmother honored him and never remarried, she finished raising her children on her own, my Dad was only about 2 0r 3 when my Grandfather died. I wish there was a way to connect with the person that said they were adopted out of the family, I never heard of anyone given up for adoption, not to say it isn't true. I would be able to share so much of the family history.

I grew up in Jasper County, Indiana and heard about you in my youth from older people who remembered you.
I heard many stories about you.
Little did I know that you are my Grandfather, because I was adopted at birth.
I found out you are my grandfather when I found my blood family some years back.
Am proud to have you as my Grandfather...
Rest in Peace.
