I had the pleasure of meeting Trooper Poetzman's mother on Thanksgiving when I went to pick up a neighbor's dog that had wondered into her yard. I told her that her daughter was a hero and it served as a reminder to me that we must not let the memories of any of the officers on this site fade away. Trooper Poetzman, you are not forgotten.
