Reflections for Sergeant Nephi P. Pierce

Sgt. Pierce - sorry to report that some unseen enemy has delayed placement of your plaque near where you were murdered. We will redouble our efforts as soon as some sense of normality returns to our society. We have not and will not forget your sacrifice. Remember that others have the watch and you can rest easy. God bless you, Sgt. Pierce.

Sgt. Nephi Pierce....finally a long overdue remembrance of your sacrifice to the citizens of Salt Lake City, will be placed at the offices of the Salt Lake County DA’s office on March 26 this year near where you were shot. As I have looked at the picture of your likeness for years I have wanted to talk to you, and learn more about you and your life. Rest In Peace Sgt. knowing many others are continuing to follow your lead. Some day we will meet to share stories and I’m certain you and Duffy have made each other’s acquaintance. God bless you!
