My mother, Dorothy Williams, Pflaume, was married to Edward Richard Pflaume when he died. She had his son May 26, 1926 in Los Angles, where she went after the death of her husband. Their son, Edward Richard Pflaumem Jr. died April 2, 1928 from Diphtheria. She related her memories with Ed, as she referred to him, until the day she died, May 5, 1998. She was 91 years old. Dorothy remarried, had 5 more children. We all knew of her love of Ed. I would appreciate any additional memories of Ed.

Edward Richard Pflaume was my great grand uncle, through a little family history search-I have found him, and have shared his story and missing pieces with my family. His name lives on and is carried through our family still today. I am visiting Chicago this Christmas and will go do a chalk rub of his brick to adds to all his other things.
