Your heroism and service is honored today, the 80th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Your sacrifice was made so many years ago. Evil was, is, and will be a part of life just as goodness such as yours will also be present.

Rest In Peace

Sir:
"In valor, there is hope". I am sorry to say, that after 75 years, brother officers are still making the ultimate sacrifice. And just like 75 years ago, we are still dedicated to protecting those who cannot protect themselves, only now, your fellow brother officers have officers like you, to spur us on. In your memory, and those who have also made the supreme sacrifice, thank you. You were then, and you will ALWAYS be one of America's Finest. Rest in peace, Amen.
