On behalf of my father, Michael Nixon, Henry Perrow's Great Grandson, I would like to sincerely thank all of you wonderful people for taking the time to pay respect to my Great Great Grandfather. I know how much our family's heritage means to my father, and it is truly amazing how many people, whom we have never met, have been touched by the Life of Henry Perrow. For any family, or people out there who would like to get ahold of my father, please email me at [email protected], as I know my father would like any details out there about his Great Grandfather.
Thank you all so much.

I had the honor of wearing Detective Henry Perrow's name on my race bib today at the 17th Annual Police Officers' & Firefighters' Memorial 5K held today, here in San Antonio. I pray that you continue to rest in peace, sir. My prayers for safety are always with our first responders. It was an honor to ring the blue bell at the top of the hill, each time I climbed it. Twice, in your honor. Prayers to your family and prayers to all first responders. Thank you for your service and sacrifice.

Detective Henry Perrow was my Great-Grandfather. My grandmother, Blanche Perrow Bailey was also a SAPD officer. she told me stories about his heroism. Before he was an SAPD Detective he was with the Texas Rangers. When he was a teenager, he served as a flag-carrier in the Spanish-American War. He was wounded in one of the battles (shot in the head) and survived. My grandmother told me that after he died, she dreamed she saw him walking up a beautiful stairway. She asked him if she could come with him, and he smiled at her and said, "not yet," as he continued up the stairs...

Detective Henry Perrow :
It is so sad that the names of John Dillinger and Baby Face Nelson are so known. It is your name Detective Henry Perrow that should be known. You are a hero and a man to be looked up to. May you rest in peace and thank you and your family for the ultimate sacrifice. WE are a better people today because you walked among us yesterday.
