Your heroism and service is honored today, the 89th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

The Oregon State Police would like to honor the memory of Traffic Officer Earl Perkins. The State Traffic Division is the forebearer of the OSP, as such Officer Perkins is not listed as an official OSP line of duty death. Nevertheless, we remember him and would like to honor his memory. If anyone has a photo or family-biographical information please contact the Oregon State Police Honor Guard.
