Thanks to my Grandfather for your service beyond the call of duty. I proudly carry your name today. Your model for service carried over to my serving 32 years on Active Duty.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 101rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

While researching H. B. Partridge's History of his death I was impressed with how many people described him as a man of courage, and a good police officer. I am proud to have served the same city as H.P. Partridge. He was a true Hero thenm and is still one today.
