I worked in the 62pct. Also worked the Coney Island Detail like Nick. Looked at his plaque on the wall for 15 years. Just horrible. Never Forget! It doesn't matter how long ago it was. My 62 Brother.

I WAS ASSIGNED TO CONEY ISLAND THAT SUMMER AS WELL. I WAS FROM THE 66PCT. I KNEW NICK FROM THERE AND WENT TO HIS FUNERAL. IT WAS A SAD EVENT, BY A DERANGED INDIVIDUAL ! I AM 80 YRS OF AGE NOW AND OFTEN THINK OF THOSE WHOM I KNEW THAT WERE KILLED IN THE LINE OF DUTY AND PRAY FOR THEM AS WELL ! R.I.P.

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 51rst anniversary year of your death. I am priviliged to be among the first to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace.
