Reflections for Officer George P. O'Connell

In response to the reflection left by John Coyle, the newspaper photo shown is part of a duel image of both Ofc George P. O'Connell and Louis Delatour, the bar patron who was killed in the shoot out. It is found at https://www.newspapers.com/browse/us/california/san-francisco/the-san-francisco-call_1421/1906/11/16

Hello,
George P. O'Connell is my great-grand uncle. My cousin and I were just discussing this photo of him posted here, we are thinking it may be from a painting of him done by his brother Charles Joseph O'Connell, who was an artist. Does ODMP have source attribution for this photo? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
