Reflections for Trooper Jerome B. Nugent

Rest in peace Trooper Nugent. Thank you for serving. I was wondering if you were related to New York City Police Officer Kenneth Nugent killed in the line of duty.

I said a little prayer today for Trooper Nugent and his family. He may be gone but never forgotten. He will always be a New York HERO.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest in Peace...As time goes on people sometimes forget the true sacrifice you made to service the people and state of New York. But you will never be forgotten, because God has found a place for you in heaven!
